About Our Farm

Meadow Ridge is a perennial nursery nestled at the base of Mt. Marie on Back Street in Hebron, Maine.  We are bursting with hardy locally grown perennials and beautiful flowering shrubs to grace your gardens, walkways and courtyards.  Our perennials are hardy plants over-wintered at our farm to ensure their survival in your gardens through frigid winters.

Along with our large collection of hardy Maine grown perennials and ever expanding varieties of flowering shrubs, we offer numerous Peonies and Lilacs to add long lived beauty to your gardens.  Whether you are creating a sunny flower border or seeking shelter in a graceful shade garden we can assist you in finding the right plants for the right location.  Come for a visit and spend some time wandering and discussing your garden plans.

We are finishing up our twelfth growing season here at Meadow Ridge Perennials.  We will spend the winter months reflecting on the 2014 season.  We take time to review the successes and failures in our crops and plan for the upcoming 2015 season.  Our Farm is an evolution of change, of growth and diversification.  Each year something new is added and we stop growing certain crops that have not produced well or that have not sold well.  Next year we will work to expand our cut flower fields both in the size of the fields and the varieties.  We will be growing several new varieties inside the hoop house and more outside.  We added many new "woodies" to our line-up and plan to add more in 2015.  An exciting season is ahead and we hope you will join us in this journey.

We do not yet know what 2015 will bring for our flower farm but we do know it will be exciting and new!

Visit Us!

Meadow Ridge is a “working farm”. You may find us right there in the retail plant area working on plants or we may be working in the hoop house, weeding the cut flower beds, cutting flowers or making bouquets. There is a sign at our work shelter saying where we are working on the farm, so if you don't see us right here when you drive in, we are here...working...just look around for us!
